Healing Arts London is a week of dialogues, interviews, videos, workshops and an auction to support a rapid response to COVID-19 through the arts; and in particular the mental health crisis in its wake. It is the launch, under the auspices of the World Health Organization (WHO) of a year-long response to this very serious consequence of the pandemic.
CULTURUNNERS produces cross-cultural campaigns, exhibitions, films and live events - promoting pluralism, peace-building and sustainable development through art. Launching at MIT in 2014, CULTURUNNERS' first project was a multi-year artists' roadtrip between the United States and the Middle East. Since then, it has prioritised artists-led projects which transform communities, societies and systems and inspire greater empathy across ideological and geographical borders.
In 2014, CULTURUNNERS set out from Houston, TX in a 34ft Gulf Stream RV, on a cross- country road-trip in search of common ground between the Middle East and United States. Over the course of 5 years, 120+ artists traveled across 31 states, broadcasting their stories while hosting exhibitions and community events along the way.
