Board member, Blaffer Art Museum & Houston FotoFest
Abigail Owen-Pontez hails from New York City but spent her most formative years in Houston, TX, where she and her husband, Andrew Arcidiacono, currently reside. She graduated from the Kinkaid School in Houston and then went on to study Psychology and Neuroscience at Yale University. Abigail supplemented her educational career at Rice University and Harvard University. She is an art enthusiast and serves on the Board of the Blaffer Art Museum and Houston FotoFest. She also sits on the board of the Robert Lee Blaffer Foundation in New Harmony, IN. Abigail enjoys traveling and is about to embark on a two year adventure in Guyana with her husband. She plans to address the dearth of mental health initiatives in the country with help from local Guyanese organizations.
