A curated exhibition of Magnum Photographers' work will be accompanied by a public dialogue exploring photography’s role as an archive and witness to humanity’s physical, mental and societal health. This unique collaboration will shine a light on photography’s documentation of health themes in world history including the pandemic, the mass trauma of conflict, the health effects of climate change, mental health and end-of-life.
The pioneering environmental artist, Agnes Denes, who planted a wheat field against the backdrop of New York’s Twin Towers in 1982, has created a flag artwork: Le Future est Fragile, Prenez en Soin (The Future is Fragile, Handle with Care), as a cultural call to action in response to the dual crisis of COVID-19 and climate change. Healing Arts are currently looking to secure an iconic location in Paris to raise the flag as part of its Paris activation and to mark the conclusion of it's 2021 campaign.
